We provide Gunsmithing services to support our customers. Predominantly we do repairs of broken and worn-out parts. We also install upgrade parts when it is within our ability (and we have the equipment availability). We mount and bore sight scopes, and take care of many other repairs based on the condition of the firearm and availability of parts. We also restore some older and or damaged firearms to help to bring back their usefullness and value as part of Familiy herritage.

Because older firearms often have not been taken apart in years, it can be hard to disassemble them to make repairs without the possibility of other things going wrong. Screws break or strip, wood can crack, etc… We make no claim that our efforts to correct a known problem will never cause another issue. We also expect our customers to understand this. Our customers agree to hold us blameless in cases where, after our best effort, something does not go as planned.

We have no control over the workmanship of others that have had a firearm apart in the past, nor do we consider ourselves to be perfect and above making errors. We do promise that if we do make a mistake, we will do everything in our power to correct those mistakes and also work hard to do so without dumping the financial burden of our mistakes onto our customers.

We reserve the right to decline repairs on any firearm for any reason.

We try to provide an estimate, when taking in work, but that is just an estimate and we can not be held to that if life does not treat us as we expect. Any firearm that is picked up after parts have been ordered (and/or labor invested), will required that the parts ordered and any labor charges be paid for in full at the time of pickup. Parts that have been paid for can be picked up by the customer once they arrive.

Once the customer has been notified that their firearm is complete and ready to be picked up, we expect them to pick it (or make arrangements to pick it up) up within 15 days. After 15 days, without communications from the customer, we will need to start adding storage fees to the final bill based on Sharpshooters Standard Storage Policy. After 90 days without communications from the customer, we will be forces to consider the firearm(s) to be abandoned. Abandoned firearms will be processed by Sharpshooters as we desire. We may choose to sell them or sell parts from them to recoup money owed on the repair work. Any Firearm in our possession for more than 30 days will require a Federal Form 4473 be completed successfully as per ATF requirements.

Thank you,
